Okay, the movie's done and all you got was one line of attempted mysterious text.

Here's the update in cool asterix point (bullet points just don't seem to do well on the web) form!

* We just signed with Page B. Ostrow of Ostrow and Company to come on board as the Producer's Rep for the movie. She'll be handling the distribution rights for the flick, so, if you're interested, her contact info can be found here.

* We're submitting the movie to a bunch o' different festivals, and I'll post the info for 'em as we get in.

* The movie looks and sounds great and, hopefully, y'all get a chance to see it soon.

* Ending on three asterix points seemed a little trite and over done.

So, with the movie minutes away from being done (minutes = weeks, but if you look at it proportionately ...), we figured it'd be a good time to do an overhaul of the entire On the Cutting Room Floor web site.
After a few lame attempts with my safety scissors and some construction paper, I decided to enlist some professional help.
Enter Eric Baldoni and BitClone.
They did a great job and made an excellent site that puts our old site to shame ... I mean, old site? What old site?

So, now we're in the "HELP US!" phase of the movie. Not in the sense of we're stranded and need a rescue or anything, but more along the lines of, "Hey, we almost got a finished feature, come on board!" Yeah, that sounded just as lame in my head as it reads on here. But cool lame.

Anyway, we are now in the process of soliciting producer's reps and publicists (hence the title of this entry) to help us move the project forward and also help us find funding for our next project. So, I think everyone knows what a publicist is and does, but some might not be familiar with what a producer's rep does. What to do when you need to quickly fill a knowledge gap? Plagiarize!

Basically, they are facilitators and communicators, making
connections for you and your project to ensure a wide variety of
objectives including project completion, maximum media coverage,
wide distribution, sales and the ability for you to create
another film or video.
